Senior Data Storyteller

The Role

As a Senior Data Storyteller at GeoComply, you will dive into the vast ocean of data, weaving compelling narratives that spring from the depths of diverse sources and insights. Harness the power of visualization tools and dynamic dashboards to illuminate these tales, ensuring they resonate with clarity and impact to our internal and external stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Work strategically with data analysts and data engineers on the insights team, utilizing statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover actionable insights.
  • Storytelling: Translate data findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives that effectively communicate key insights to diverse audiences. Develop storytelling frameworks that resonate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Visualization: Create visually appealing data visualizations, including charts, graphs, and dashboards, to enhance understanding and engagement. Ensure visualizations adhere to best practices for clarity and accuracy.
  • Presentation: Present findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders through presentations, reports, and other communication channels. 
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of emerging trends, tools, and techniques in data analysis and storytelling. Continuously seek opportunities to enhance storytelling capabilities and drive innovation in data-driven decision-making.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics.
  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, visualization, and storytelling.
  • Understand, analyze, interpret, and present data to C-Suite executives.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBi, Kibana, Domo etc.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a passion for transforming data into actionable insights.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.

Who you are

  • You have experience working in the iGaming and/or antifraud industry.

Salary Range

  • 100000 - 160000 CAD, per-year-salary
  • The typical salary range for this position is from $100,000-$160,000 annually. The base pay offered may vary depending on a variety of factors including, your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
