Akamai Customer Guide
These are the best practices that should be followed by an OTT broadcaster when implementing GeoGuard for location spoofing protection through Akamai’s Enhanced Proxy Detection (EPD) service.
To ensure accuracy is as high as possible, and false positives are kept to a minimum the GeoGuard is continually updated. Updates are published to Akamai at least 4 times a day.
