The Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to lead our Human Resources functions in our thriving Ho Chi Minh City office. This role is crucial in supporting our rapid growth and ensuring a positive, productive, and compliant work environment for our talented team in Vietnam. Reporting to a senior HR leader (e.g., Regional HR Director or Chief HR Officer), you will be a strategic partner, deeply embedded in the local operations while aligning with our global HR strategies and company values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Partnership:
- Act as a trusted HR business partner to local management, providing guidance and support on all HR-related matters.
- Translate business needs into effective HR initiatives and strategies that align with GeoComply's global objectives and local context.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR action plans defined by regional and global HR strategies.
- Ensure a seamless and engaging onboarding experience for all new hires, facilitating their integration into GeoComply's culture and team.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to identify and build a robust talent pipeline for future growth.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns with GeoComply's values of diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee queries, grievances, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent application of policies.
- Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives, wellbeing programs, and team-building activities to enhance morale and retention.
- Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems, ensuring effective goal setting, feedback, and development plans.
- Identify training and development needs, coordinating with local and global resources to provide relevant learning opportunities (e.g., GeoComply Academy, local training programs).
- Support managers in developing their leadership and people management skills.
- Oversee local payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct local market reviews to ensure competitive salary packages and benefits programs, aligning with global guidelines where applicable.
- Manage HR and administrative costs in line with budgetary controls.
- Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures that comply with Vietnamese labor laws and regulations.
- Ensure accurate maintenance of employee records, contracts, and all necessary documentation, including work permits for foreign employees.
- Stay abreast of changes in Vietnamese labor law and advise management on compliance requirements.
- Oversee general administrative duties for the office, including office supply management, vendor relations, and supporting visitor logistics (e.g., visa processing).

What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in an HR Manager or equivalent leadership role within Vietnam.
- Strong knowledge and proven experience applying Vietnamese labor laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation & benefits, and compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (both written and verbal), and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle complex employee relations issues and conflicts with discretion and professionalism.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
- Fluency in Vietnamese and proficient English is required.
- Experience in a technology company or a global/matrix organization is a significant asset.
- A solution-oriented mindset with a proactive and agile approach to HR challenges.
