The Opportunity: Vancouver, B.C.
Full Time: 40hr/week, no remote option
Contract length: 4 months
Expected start date: Tuesday, May 5th, 2026
Application Deadline: Feb 20th, 2026

The Role:

At most companies, a Customer Success internship means sitting in on calls and taking notes. That isn't what we do here.

Our geolocation data is part of the security infrastructure for some of the world’s largest industries and is used to empower the future of digital trust. We are a high-growth tech unicorn, and our team is currently scaling faster than our manual processes can keep up with.

As a Customer Success Manager Intern, you will work within the CS (Customer Success) team, supporting accounts and clients within a fast paced, high-tech B2B environment.

This team delivers the most important value to us: customer adoption, retention, and stickiness. You’ll be thrown into new situations, pushed to think on your feet, and tasked with re-imagining the very processes our team uses to ensure our customers feel the value GeoComply delivers. This role is designed for someone who wants to eventually own customer relationships yourself.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn from the best: This role will have direct connection to our senior account directors, customer success managers, and customers, giving you exposure to the entire sales, onboarding, and lifecycle management that our business provides
  • Lead Initiatives: A main project will be to use low-code / automation tools (like Claude, Figma Make, Google Scripts) to make things more efficient. Eg ingest data from multiple non-integrated systems and engineer a functional dashboard that identifies pipeline and revenue opportunities.
  • Understand our geolocation technology and translate it into business value. You’ll learn to view Customer Success as a form of daily sales: ensuring customers see enough value to adopt new solutions
  • Talk, and Listen. You won't just be people-facing (although public speaking is a huge part of this role!) you will learn to technically relay our products complexity, and problem solve in real time.
  • Cross Team Coordination: between solutions consultants, product teams, sales, accounting, finance, and release deployment to support revenue goals.
  • Account Exposure: You will be attached to one or two CSMs on major accounts, attending/engaging in customer calls and eventually supporting key business processes such as a major migration or onboarding.
  • Embrace Stretch Opportunities (The Fun Part!): As a GeoComply intern, expect to be pushed. You’ll be given special, high-value projects outside the immediate scope of your role, a chance to explore new skills, test your limits, and adapt to new challenges across the business.

❌❌ This Role is NOT for you if: ❌❌

  • You want a strategy-only role where you don't have to touch spreadsheets or trackers.
  • You are uncomfortable with technical data and only want to do the people part of the job.
  • You want a “camera off” role. This will be heavily client and executive facing, and a high level of professionalism is key.
  • You need a rigid, repeatable workflow or clear check-list to get things done.
  • You are looking for a remote or hybrid internship.

Who You Are

  • Educated: Pursuing or recently graduated from any post-secondary degree. We care more about your character and ability to solve problems in new situations than your experience with any specific tool, degree, or subject matter.
  • Communicative: You like to talk, and find joy in taking complex complex terms and explain them simply to stakeholders who may not be technical, and vice versa.
  • Technical Aptitude: You don't need to be a developer, but you should be confident in your ability to pick up new tools (Salesforce, AI, Data tools) quickly.
  • Analytical: You are comfortable with data and you know how to turn raw information into a clean business document or dashboard.
  • Adaptable: You thrive in an ad-hoc environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Initiative: You are curious, a high achiever, and are eager to absorb information about new systems quickly. We need a candidate who doesn't wait for a process, instead builds out a better one when they notice friction
  • Proficient: You want to use AI and LLMs to solve real operational messes, not just to summarize notes or plan vacations.

Bonus Points if (this is for things that are NICE to have, but not needed)

  • Customer Service, retail, service, or sales experience
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs
  • Student leadership experience such as being a club executive or case comp/hackathon participant
  • Portfolio of project(s) (personal or group) where you solved a real-world business problem using automation.

What You Will Gain:

  • Mentorship by seasoned leaders such as Account Directors and Customer Managers , who prioritize direct feedback and daily coaching.
  • Career Exploration Opportunities: We are treating this role as a direct investment in our CSM pipeline, whether now or once you graduate, there is potential for growth opportunities for the right person.
  • Executive Access: You will be exposed to the end-to-end business cycle and interact with senior leadership across the company.
  • Autonomy: Develop and implement your own solutions, have ownership of your project, and truly put yourself to the test. This will be a really hands on and high impact role for the right candidate.

Salary Range

  • 50000 - 58000 CAD, per-year-salary
  • Salary Transparency and Equity: Our Early Career Salary ranges are set on a scale that depends on a selected candidate's location, level of education achieved, and number of months of work experience relevant to the position prior to applying.
About GeoComply’s Early Talent Program:

Most companies see interns as cheap labour, temporary workforce or someone to delegate the tasks you don’t want to do. This as a huge missed opportunity.

GeoComply views our Early Talent Program as an opportunity to hand select and shape the growth of our future leaders. To equip them with the skills we want our future team leaders to have in five years, and our future executives to have in fifteen. We believe in developing our future pipeline of people as thoughtfully as we think about developing our products.

Here are the stats to back that up:
- GeoComply supports an average of 60 intern positions a year (globally)
- 8-10% of GeoComply’s current workforce were hired on as interns
- Each intern receives hundreds of hours of job specific training and professional development from their managers, mentors, and the Early Talent Program.
