GeoComply’s IMPACT division delivered on key initiatives across five core areas and share company vision for 2023

January 31, 2023 (Vancouver, BC) — GeoComply today announced the release of its 2022 Impact Report. This first annual Impact Report for the company highlights how GeoComply is utilising its market-leading geolocation compliance technology for “for good” causes and how the company’s IMPACT division has delivered important initiatives over the past year across five core areas of focus: Responsible Gaming; Child Protection; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Community Engagement; and Environmental Sustainability.

Over the past year, GeoComply has supported 70 employees and their families to relocate from Ukraine to Canada, Poland, and elsewhere. GeoComply’s mentorship initiatives impacted 100 female-identifying persons, Enable and Empower and Code Like a Girl. While 38 scholarships were issued to orphans to continue their education in Vietnam due to our donations to the VinaCapital Foundation.

“Upon co-founding and leading GeoComply, it was always part of my mission to be able to do good and give back whenever and wherever possible,” said GeoComply Co-Founder and CEO, Anna Sainsbury.

GeoComply is deeply committed to protecting children from online sexual exploitation and abuse. In 2022, the company launched a TechSprint in aid of the Child Rescue Coalition (CRC) called Hacking Child Protection to develop solutions for CRC. While the Senior Vice President of Gaming Operations at GeoComply, Chad Kornett, raised just shy of $20,000 for CRC, running the New York marathon on their behalf.

Looking forward through 2023, the GeoComply team aims to broaden their impact across their global offices and deepen connections within local communities where they operate while the company seeks to drive environmental impact and online safety projects.
