August 27, 2013 (Nevada) – GeoComply USA today announces the appointment of Valli Ardalan as General Manager for their iGaming Division.

Ardalan, most recently Head of Poker Operations for bwin.party Digital Entertainment, will base himself between the UK and the US as he immediately takes on responsibility for GeoComply’s customers in Nevada, New Jersey and Canada as well as the European platforms and development teams supporting them.

For US-born Ardalan, the chance was too good to miss; “As both an American and a specialist in regulated iGaming, the opening of the US market represents a particularly exciting opportunity for me. GeoComply’s client base represents all the major players in this new landscape and I am really looking forward to working with them as we make the potential of this market a reality”.

According to GeoComply’s CEO, Anna Sainsbury, Valli’s close knowledge of the operators’ and players’ perspective will be an important factor in the success of GeoComply’s customers.

“Compliance is an extremely important part of what the geolocation technologies have to do. However, the player’s experience is also critical and Valli will help us work even closer with operators and their platforms to make sure that, even as our geofencing technology enforces boundaries, the legitimate players are not unnecessarily impacted,” said Sainsbury.

GeoComply is licensed in Nevada and has completed its New Jersey license application with the Division of Gaming Enforcement.
